FAQ

Questions you'd ask a cat

Everything people ask us about LEEROYS.COM, Leeroy and Tiger, answered as honestly as a cat allows.

Is LEEROYS.COM real news?

No. It's a parody news show presented by two cats. Real headlines are the starting point and the jokes are made up. Every story page has a "What actually happened" box with the real facts and sources, so you can always tell which bit is which.

Are Leeroy and Tiger real cats?

Yes. Leeroy is a long-haired silver tabby and Tiger is a tabby and white cat. Every episode starts from real photos of them. Their whiskers, markings and opinions are all their own. Meet them.

Who does the voices?

Lee Samuel Tucker, who created the show. Lee reads every script, and a clone of his voice is tuned for each character, so it becomes Leeroy or Tiger.

Is it made with AI?

Partly. The cats and the voice are real; the scenes are animated with AI tools and then edited. Every video is labelled as made with AI on every platform. Here's how an episode is made.

Where can I watch?

Everywhere: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, Snapchat and Pinterest. New reports land on every channel at once. This site is the library: watch every report.

Who is actually in charge, Leeroy or Tiger?

Leeroy is the host. Tiger is the co-presenter. Tiger has described this as "an open question". It is not an open question. Settle it with Top Trumps.

Why does Tiger never have a hat?

He was sent to Moscow without one. He has since been issued with a hat. The full history is on our corrections page.

How do you choose the stories?

Our newsroom reads thousands of real headlines a day and looks for the most absurd side of them. We aim the jokes at the absurdity, never at victims, and we leave grim stories alone.

Can I complain about a cat?

Yes, and we encourage it. Our complaints department takes every complaint seriously, usually while lying on it. If you're still unhappy, you can escalate to Ofcat.

Is Ofcat a real regulator?

No. Ofcat, the Office of Feline Communications, is part of the joke. It is always closed. Genuine concerns go to [email protected], where a human deals with them properly.

Do the cats get paid?

Tiger put in an expenses claim for one (1) hat after Moscow. It was denied. He has since been given a hat, but says that doesn't settle the matter.

Can I share your videos?

Please do. Share the links as much as you like. Please don't re-upload the videos as your own.

Can my brand sponsor the news desk?

Yes. See sponsorship and partners. Paid spots are always labelled, and the cats may sniff your product.

Can I send you a story tip?

Yes: tip off the newsroom, anonymously if you like. Tiger reads every tip. Tiger cannot read.

What happens to my data?

As little as possible. Our visit records keep no IP addresses, and analytics cookies are only used if you say yes. The privacy policy explains it all in plain English.
